How I Started with Drawings
It all began at the start of 9th grade. We were sent to the supply room to pick up new books for the upcoming school year. While there, I noticed some brand-new sketchbooks. Without thinking twice, I grabbed one and quietly slipped it into my bag. At first, it just sat unused in my room. But as my mental health declined and sleep became elusive, I started drawing. My sketches often come from dreams, my imagination, or random thoughts. Drawing became a lifeline, helping me overcome self-harm. Now, I rely on it to manage impulses and keep addictive urges at bay.
